What is "SIOS Integration for Google Apps"?
SIOS Integration for Google Apps is a service that directly links a customer's existing information system with Google Apps, which is a Google's hosting type application service.
Using Provisioning API developed by SIOS and employed by Google, SIOS Integration for Google Apps enables single sign-on to applications, and synchronizes a customer's user management system with the Google user information.
Customers are allowed to utilize their information systems and Gmail, Google calendars, and Google documents provided by Google in a more convenient and secure manner, as below:
Prevention of password leakage
Introduction of a single sign-on system that enables login to Google Apps without giving a user password to Google.
Improved efficiency of account management
Execution of account synchronization that causes user addition and deletion to be coordinated, so that redundant user information management by a customer's system and Google is avoided.
Improved users' convenience
Execution of password synchronization that allows the same password to be used as an in-house password when Gmail is used with POP or when Google Talk is used.
